“Julie is a wonderful photographer, extremely patient, and works very well with a variety of personalities. Julie helped our firm for a number of years to photograph headshots of our attorneys. She would set up her studio here in our offices to make it easy for our attorneys to show up to their appointments.
Julie was always flexible with our space, our needs, and any last-minute requests we may have had. Even better was that we received final images within a week and was able to deliver them to the attorneys and load them to the website in a very quick manner. It was a pleasure to work with Julie in this capacity.”

“Julie is a great photographer and a wonderful person to work with. She works with you until both she and the client are happy with the shots. She is my favorite photographer!”
Stephanie M., SLM Solutions
“Julie helped me to do a quick lifestyle photoshoot in the studio of a model with my fitness product. This was done very very quickly to meet a deadline of mine. Within 24 hours of entering Thumbtack, I had my first set of photos back. She worked around my schedule.
I honestly have to say this was far and above my best experience working with a photographer. Her expertise and knowledge and ability to manage the shoot were phenomenal. I expect to hire her again for my next photo needs. She gave me the best price without any compromise on quality or delivery. Quality of work is expert level.”

Julie, I thoroughly enjoyed the photography class [Expanded Introduction to Digital Photography, Santiago Canyon College/Community Services, Spring 2017]. I think I may have found a new passion! My boyfriend is in Afghanistan I sent him my happy photos and he called the last 2 days and we talked about photography. It’s so much fun. Thank you
I took two classes with Julie, business, and digital photography. Both were very well prepared, planned out, and taught. For each of the classes, Julie prepared her own textbooks that outlined the curriculum and were very helpful for later reviews.
In class, she used slides with more information and examples of work, which were very helpful especially in the photography class. With her background in business and photography, we benefitted from her first-hand experiences and recommendations regarding the best photography equipment to invest in.
Classes were not only informative but also fun and hands-on. Her passion for photography is highly contagious! I started from being intimidated by my camera but ended up enjoying and recognizing the fun behind taking photos.
I highly recommend Julie and hope to continue my own photography journey with her as my teacher.

Julie prepared a Central Italy itinerary for a client that included Florence, Cinque Terre, Lucca, Milan, Lake Como, and Orvieto. Based on their preliminary plans, She designed a route that was efficient (no backtracking), interesting (unusual, off the beaten path sights), didn’t waste time on places they had already visited, and incorporated their “must-do’s”. Here’s what they said:
“WOW! I was blown away by how knowledgeable and helpful JDPGIGs [JDP Travels and JDP Photography] was with our itinerary. I’m so excited for our trip, and more so now with this great information in hand. Thank you!”
Kelly M., December 1, 2014
“Thank you for creating such an absolutely fabulous experience!”

“I just wanted you to know how much fun George and I had on our trip to Italy…Everywhere we went and every person you hooked us up with was a pleasure and a wonderful experience. When we would go to one of our hotels or meet one of our guides or drivers they would say, “Oh, you’re Julie’s friend!” and we would instantly have this extra special attention…After a while, George and I would have this little saying, “It’s good to be Julie’s friend” and then laugh with the feeling of being very special and important in Italy because of you.
We never once got lost or felt out of place and always kept with us our information packets that you put together. I will for sure use your services anytime I decide to travel anywhere, even in the States.
Thank you, Julie, for your help in a wonderful and fulfilled trip to Italy.”
Dawn & George, September 2005
“The success and enjoyment that we experienced on the trips you planned for us were due primarily to your skills in planning to the most minute details and above all, completely understanding our desires.
Besides the planning, your guidance and knowledge made the trips pleasurable and educational. We have seen, learned, and done things that we would not have if we planned the trips ourselves.
The detailed trip plans with directions and maps you have provided made getting to our destinations simple. The selection and reservations for our lodging have always been superb and without any glitches.
Again, thanks for the jobs well done and we will call on you to plan our next trip.”

“Thank you Julie! We love the article and photos. You are very talented in both writing and capturing the best side of our public art at the stations. Thank you and we hope to see you again soon.”
